Dhaka – Customs Intelligence officials arrested two people along with eight gold bars from Benapole check-post here on Thursday.The arrestees are – Sujon Mia, 22, son of Akbar Ali in Shariatpur district and Jony Molla, son of Abdur Rahim of Madaripur district. Suspecting the movement of two people, a team of customs intelligence officials intercepted them and recovered eight gold bars after searching their bodies in the morning, said Abdus Sadek, deputy commissioner of Benapole Customs Intelligence.The seized gold bars were deposited to the Benapole customs office.UNB news agency
