Dhaka – Police arrested two people along with two shutter guns in separate incidents at Subornakhali village at Sharsha upazila in Jessore on Wednesday.Tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive at the village and arrested Shahidul Islam, 38, son of Ramjan Ali of Shonadia village along with a shutter gun at noon, said TasmimAlam, officer-in-charge of Sharsha Police Station.In another incident, police also arrested Mintu Hossain, 28, son of Nabir Uddin of Shikarpur village with a gun from the bordering area of the upazila in the afternoon, said the OC.Both the arrestees had long been involved in arms trading, said police.Two separate cases were filed.UNB
