Dhaka -Two housewives were found dead in separate incidents in Chandpur and Shariatpur on Thursday.In Chandpur, police recovered the body of Mobashera Begum, 50, wife of a homeopathic physician, Abul Kashem, from a water-body near her house on Chandpur-Comilla road in Hajiganj municipality area on Thursday.Manirul Haq, sub-inspector of Hajiganj Police Station, said being
informed by local people, police recovered the body from the water-body around 5 pm.The body bore several injury marks, said SI.The motive behind the killing could not be known immediately.In Shariatpur, police recovered throat-slit body of a housewife from a house at Choto Kachna village in Gosairhat upazila on Thursday.The deceased was identified as Kalpana Akter, 27, wife of Sajal Bepari of Muladi upazila in Barisal district.Mofazzal Hossain, officer-in-charge of Gosairhat Police Station, said Kalpana along with her mother came to a house of Anwar Fakir for treatment as she had been suffering from several diseases on Tuesday.Police suspected that Kalpana, a mother of three children, might have killed herself.
