Two people were killed as a train rammed a pick-up van on a level crossing at Mukul Bazar in sadar upazila on Friday.
The deceased were identified as Samej, 27, driver of the pick-up van and Dulal, 36, a vegetable trader.Railway sources said the Dhaka-bound commuter train from Dewanganj rammed the pick-up van on the level crossing at about 6:45 am, leaving two people dead the spot and another injured.On information, a fire service unit rushed in and recovered the bodies.The injured vegetable trader, Palash, was rushed to Jamalpur General Hospital while the bodies were sent to the hospital morgue. –UNB, Jamalpur
