Dhaka – Two people were killed and eight others injured in a head-on collision between a bus and a truck on Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Padua in Chouddagram upazila in
Comilla early Thursday.The identities of the deceased could not be known yet,UNB news agency reported.The accident took place around 5 am when a Cox’s Bazar-bound bus of ‘Hanif Paribahan’ from Dhaka collided head-on with a truck coming from the opposite direction, leaving two passengers of the bus dead on the spot and eight others injured, said Abu Foysal, officer-in-charge of Chouddagram Police Station.The injured were taken to Chouddagram Upazila Health Complex.
