Two persons including a minor boy were killed and three others injured in a head-on
collision between a CNG-run auto rickshaw and a microbus in Goyaspur area under
Rajnagar Upazila of the Moulvibazar district on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Manik Mia, 38 and Ankon, 6.
Witnesses said a Moulvibazar-bound microbus collided head-on with an auto rickshaw
in the area on Rajnagar-Sylhet regional highway at around 9:00pm, leaving the auto
rickshaw driver and a child dead on the spot.
Confirming the matter, Rajnagar police station Officer-in-Charge Kamrul Hasan said
“The bodies were sent to Moulvibazar Sadar Hospital morgue.” –Our Correspondent,
