Home minister Mohiuddin Khan Alamgir on Wednesday said Bangladesh has yet not
been officially informed or received any information from India on the Indian plan to
deploy unmanned aerial vehicles ( Drone plane) on Bangladesh-India frontiers.
However from different sources Bangladesh has learnt that India will use UAV plane
inside Indian border, not inside Bangladesh territory, Home Minister said.
M K Alamgir while talking with the journalists after inaugurating Kazirhut Police
Station under Mehendiganj upazila of Barisal Wednesday noon further said Dhaka has
sought an explanation from New Delhi on the Indian plan to deploy to the BangladeshIndia frontiers.
Bangladesh government will give official reaction only after receiving official statement
from India.
Home Minister said caretaker government would never restored in Bangladesh. The
movement of BNP for bringing back caretaker government system has no logical reason.
The gathering presided over by AKM Ehsan Ullah, Barisal district police superintendent,
was addressed, among others, by Advocate Talukdar Md. Yunus, AL lawmaker, Hasan
Mahmud Khandkar, inspector general of police, Mokhlesur Rahman, director general
of Rapid Action Battalion, Dr. Abdur Rahim, deputy inspector general of police Barisal
range, Zahid Hossain, in charge of newly inaugurated Kazirhut police station.
After inaugural ceremony, the home minister also addressed a public meeting at Udaypur
Muslim Akhand School field organised by Mehendiganj upazila AL.
Upazila AL president and former lawmaker Maidul Islam presided over and addressed
by leaders of AL and front organizations addressed the meeting. –Our Correspondent,
