Dhaka – Two persons were killed in a head-on collision between two vehicles on the Syedpur Road in Fultala area of the Sadar upazila in Nilphamari on Wednesday night.
The deceased were identified as Mosharaf Hossain, 38, son of Abdul Miah and Bashir, 35, son of Mokles, both of Balapara village of the upazila.
The accident occurred around 9:30pm, leaving the duo dead on the spot.
On information, police rushed in and sent the bodies to Nilphamari Modern Government Hospital for autopsy.
Necessary legal steps would be taken in this connection, said Sub Inspector Harij Miah of Nilphamari Sadar Police Station.UNB
