Police in a drive arrested two alleged female drug peddlers along with 500 pieces of Yaba tablets from Kadamtala More in Kaliganj upazila on Friday night.
Amal Kumar Roy, sub-inspector of Kaliganj Police Station, said acting on secret information, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested Sazida Begum, 41, wife of Ramzan Ali, and Hazera Khatun, 24, daughter of Esha Ali of Ghona Kashempur village in the upazila, in possession of 500 pieces of Yaba tablets around 8:30 pm.A case was filed in this connection. -UNB, Satkhira
