A court here on Thursday sent 22 leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami to jail in a case filed for torching a bus by hurling petrol bomb at a filling station in Nalchhiti upazila on January 21.
District Session Judge court passed the order rejecting their bail petitions when they surrendered before the court seeking bail.
According to the case statement, at least four people sustained serious burn injuries as the BNP-Jamaat men set fire to a Patuakhali-bound bus by hurling petrol bomb on January 15.
