Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) arrested 25 people while they were going to India illegally through Boro Achra border here on Monday night.Tipped off, a BGB team launched a drive in the frontier area and arrested the 25 people, including 12 women and seven children, said Lieutenant Colonel Jahangir Hossain, commanding officer of Jessore BGB-26. The arrestees hail from different areas of Narail, Bagerhat and Gopalganj districts. They were going to India in search of jobs. Later, BGB troops handed over them to Benapole Port Police Station.
