Detective Branch (DB) of police arrested three people, including an
alleged top terror, in possession of a firearm from Duttapara area in
the district town early Saturday.
The arrestees are Abdul Kaddus, 26, said to be a top terror of the
area, and his associates Mobarok Hossain and Sajjad of the same area.
Police said acting on secret information, they launched a drive in the
area and arrested the trio in the early morning.
Police also seized a foreign made pistol, five rounds of bullet and
two knives from their possession.
A case was filed against them with Narsingdi Model Police Station
under the Arms Act. -UNB, Jessore
