Dhaka – Police arrested three leaders and activists of BNP and Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal from Kanaighat thana area on Thursday.A group of BNP and JCD leaders and activists brought out a procession in the afternoon protesting the verdict against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia, said Abdul Ahad, officer-in-charge of Kanaighat Police Station.At one stage, they locked into a clash with police.A chase and counter-chase then took place between police and BNP men.Later, police arrested a BNP activist and two leaders and activists of JCD.UNB news agency
