Dhaka, Mar 8 – Three motorcyclists were killed as a vehicle crashed on a motorbike carrying them at Rampura on Dhaka-Sylhet highway in Bijoynagar upazila of Brahmanbaria on Tuesday night.The deceased were identified as Sohag, 30, son of Manu Miah, and Manir, 27, son of Basit Miah, both residents of Sarail upazila and Rafiq, 25, son of Nazir Miah, a resident of Sohagpur in Ashuganj upazila of the district.
Humayun Kabir, officer-in-charge of Sarail Khatihata Police Station, said the accident took place when the vehicle hit the motorcycle there around 8.00pm, leaving the trio dead on the spot.
On being informed, police recovered the bodies and sent those to Sadar Hospital morgue for autopsy.
