Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in separate drives arrested three people, including a woman, and seized 45 bottles of Indian Phensidyl syrup from different parts of the port area here on Thursday.Tajul Islam, sub-inspector of Benapole Police Station, said a team of BGB conducted a drive at Sadipur village and arrested two people along with 25 bottles of Phensidyl in the afternoon.The arrestees were identified as Akter Hossain, 24, son of Hashem Gazi, and Munsur, 29, son of Abushama, hailing from Sherpur district.In another incident, BGB members also arrested a woman along with 20 bottles of Phensidyl from Benapole check post area here in the afternoon.The arrestee was identified as Tania Begum, 20, a resident of the area and daughter of Abdul Jalil of Nilganj Shashanghat area of Jessore district. -UNB, Benapole
