Khulna –Three people, including a female university admission seeker, were killed and another was injured when a truck and a private car collided head-on at Akmal More in Arong Ghat area of the city on Thursday morning.
The deceased were identified as Preetha Reddy, 19, daughter of Provat Reddy of Daulatpur area of Khulna city, Preetha’s house tutor Jotirmoy, 40, and the car driver Zakir, 30.Police said the accident occurred at about 9:00 am when a Fultala-bound truck collided with a car coming from the opposite direction in the area, leaving the three dead on the spot and another injured.
Pritha along with her father and house tutor on the car was going to sit for admission test of Khulna University.
Police rushed to the spot and recovered the bodies and sent those to Khulna Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy. – UNB
