Lalmonirhat – Three people were killed and at least five others were injured after being struck by lightning in separate incidents in Kaliganj and Patgram upazilas on Tuesday morning.In Kaliganj upazila, farmer Mintu Miah and Asadul, son of Harun-or-Rashid, were killed as a thunderbolt hit them while they were working at a field in the morning, said Assistant Superintendent of Police of Lalmonirhat Hossain Shahid Sohorawardi.In Patgram, Saju Miah, son of Islam of Srirampur village, died when a lightning strike hit him in the morning, the ASP added.
