Nilphamari – Three people, including an HSC examinee, were killed in a road crash in Kishoreganj upazila of the district on Monday.The deceased were identified as Masud Khan, 25, son of Shamsul Khan of Singergari Pathanpara village, his cousin Abdul Kaiyum, 19, an HSC examinee and son of Enamul Haque, and Biplab Miah, 30, son of Abu Hossain of Donga village.
Officer-in-charge of Kishorganj Police Station Mostafizur Rahman said the two cousins were going to the upazila headquarters by a motorcycle while Biplab was returning home from the opposite direction by another motorcycle.The two bikes collided head-on at Chakirbazar around 12:30pm, leaving Biplab and Kaiyum dead on the spot, he added.Masud Khan died after he was taken to Rangpur Medical College Hospital.(UNB)
