Some three thousands people were sued by police for their alleged involvement in beating six sea robbers to death in Subarnachar Upazila of the district on Friday.Police filed another case mentioning 21 names including Hannan and Rubel for the involvement in robbery.
Charjabbar Thana Officer-in-Charge Mosharraf Hossain Tarafdar confirmed the matter to banglanews.
Earlier, on Friday noon, locals lynched a gang of sea robbers including leader Salim in Rikashapara area of the Upazila, leaving three dead on the spot while three others dead on the way to hospital.(Source:banglanews24.com)
