35 Indian cattle seized in C’nawabganj

Members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) in several drives seized 35 Indian cattle from different places of the district on Wednesday.Additional Director of Chapainawabganj BGB-9 Major Minnat Ali said in a press release on the day that a patrol team the border force from Bakher Ali border outpost, led by Habildar Badal Murmur, conducted a drive in Padma’r Char area near pillar no. 27/6-S around 5pm and seized 18 Indian cows.

Another patrol team of the force from Jahurpur Tek border outpost, led by Nayeb Subedar Md Jamal Uddin, conducted a drive in Saddam’r Char area near pillar no. 23/7-S around 7pm and seized 14 cows.Another patrol team of the force from Jahurpur border outpost led by Nayeb Subedar Md Mofijul Islam conducted a drive in Kalupur field area around 9pm and seized four Indian Cows.Later the force handed over the seized cows to Chapainawabganj customs office.The worth of the seized cows would be around Tk17.20 lakh.However, no one was arrested in this connection. – UNB, Chapainawabganj
