Unidentified miscreants damaged four idols at an old Hindu temple at
Naogaon Bazar in Taras upazila on Sunday night.
Police said miscreants attacked the temple sometime after 7.00pm and
damaged the four idols as its warden went home after offering worship.
Later, when he went there again for offering worship at night he found
the temple gate and four idols of Radha Gobinda, Gouro Nitai, Kali and
Durga broken.
Officer-in-charge (OC) of Taras Police Station Abdur Rafiq, who
visited the spot, confirmed the incident.
