Four people were killed in a road accident in Barogaza area on Hatikumrul-Banpara highway under Hatikumrul upazila here last night.
The identities of the deceased could not be known immediately, but one of the victim’s was the truck driver.Officer-in-charge of Hatikumrul Highway thana, Ali Farid Ahmed told BSS that the accident occurred when a truck fell into a roadside ditch as its driver lost control over the steering at about 12 noon, leaving three people dead and one injured.The injured was rushed to Sirajganj General Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries. –BSS, Sirajganj
