Muggers injured five cattle traders by stabbing them and took away Tk12 lakh from their possession at City Hat in the city on Sunday night.
All the traders—Enamul, 42, Raju, 40, Munjur, 43, Laltu, 40, and Sadar Ali, 43– were admitted to Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) with severe injuries.Uttam Kumar, in-charge of the RMCH police camp, said a gang of muggers swooped on the cattle traders and stabbed them with sharp weapons,
leaving them injured.Later, the muggers took away Tk12 lakh from the traders and fled the scene, added Uttam Kumar. -UNB, Rajshahi
