Police on Sunday filed a case was filed against 59 leaders and activists of BNP and Jamaat-e-Islami for torching vehicles on the Jessore-Benapole highway on Saturday.Kabir Hossain, sub-inspector of Jessore Kotwali Model Police station filed the case against the 59 BNP-Jamaat men, including a union parishad chairman of Jhikargacha upazila, on Sunday night on charges of torching a truck and a private car on the highway on Saturday.
