Form ‘terrorism’ resistance bodies at all localities: Khaleda

BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia yesterday asked her alliance leaders and workers to form resistance movement committees against the “state terrorism” under the leadership of 20-party alliance at all the localities across the country.
BNP joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed said this yesterday in a statement issued from an undisclosed location.
“The fall of the illegal government is certain in the face of spontaneous movement of the people,” he said.
The BNP leader said it has become evident that all the state organs have become amalgamated with the executive and in reality there is no existence and balance of executive, legislature and judiciary. “Thus, this has put the country and the nation under state anarchy,” he said.“The conspiracy of the ruling Awami League to prolong its rule through rampage by police will never be successful,” he said.
Salahuddin accused the AL of turning the Constitution into a hammer for establishing the one-party rule through the 15thamendment to the constitution.
He reiterated the 20-Party call to stop mass killings, repression and oppression saying that even the mass killing carried out by Rakkhi Bahini and the formation of BAKSAL could save anyone.
