Dhaka – Rapid Action Battalion men on Monday seized six tonnes of hilsa fry from Sadarghat area in Chattogram.Senior Assistant Director (Media) Mimtanur Rahman said acting on a tip-off a team of Rab-7 conducted a drive in a fishing ship FV Shimata-1 and seized the hilsa fry.
A mobile court fined Md Mehedi, 30, a local fisherman tk 5000 in this regard. Seized hilsa fry were distributed at local orphanage and madrassas under local administration’s supervision, he said.UNB
