Seven members of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) were injured as a truck carrying them overturned on Dhaka-Chittagong highway in Raipur Nathbari area of Daudkandi upazila on Saturday morning.
The injured–Saidur, 43, Imran,34, Jakir Hossain, 42, Anwar Hossain, 23, Abu Sayed, 49, Fardin Islam, 22,and Abdur Rashid,30, of Chittagong BGB—were admitted to Combined Military Hospital(CMH) in Comilla.Md Abdul Awak, officer-in-charge of Daudkandi Highway Police Camp, said that the truck carrying a team of BGB members turned turtle around 11 am as a wheel of the truck got punctured, leaving seven of them injured.
On information, a unit of Daudkandi fire service rushed to the spot and rescued the injured.
