Narayanganj seven murder prime accused expelled Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) officer Lt Col Tareq Sayeed was admitted into the Dhaka Medical College Hospital with illness.Dhaka Central Jail Senior Super Nesar Alam admitted it and said, the prime suspect was admitted around 2:15pm.
He was currently under going treatment at the Cabin Block of the old building of the DMCH.
About his illness, Nesar said,‘‘ Due to several pains on his body, jail physicians refereed him to admit into the DMCH for better treatment.”
Narayanganj City Corporation panel mayor Nazrul Islam, his three associates, driver, senior lawyer of the Narayanganj District Judge’s Court Chandan Kumar Sarker along with his driver were abducted from Fatullah area. Later their body was recovered from river Shitalakkhya and Dhaleshwari.
Detective Branch of Police placed charge sheet against 35 persons including Lt Col Sayeed, former RAB-11 commanding officer, two others RAB officials and councilor Nur Hossain on April this year.
