7th founding anniv ,2nd film festival at DU

TV, film and Photography Department of Dhaka University, 7th founding Anniversary and 2nd film festival here almost 230 film participated only 15 best film got selected and staged. A little story from a film- “A lonely middle-aged busy city man gets a letter at almost every midnight. The letter is for some ‘Kamrul Islam’ who is not known to this man. Hence this man goes in quest of this Kamrul Islam to give him all the letters.
He search for Kamrul Islam in police station, in office & also in his village .But nowhere he find him. Then the man returns his home at midnight and another letter arrives again. At last he finds Kamrul Islam who is none other than the man himself. This lonely busy city man writes letters to himself. As the night gets darker, the man starts losing his long lost self again”
Prize given by TFP dpt. Founder chairman A J M Shafiul Alam Bhuiyan, Film director – Morshedul Islam. 1st prize to- ‘In the Extinct Address’ by Sayma Farzana,2nd prize to ‘Some ancient trees’ by Hasnat Sohan and ‘Pushpokotha’ by Lahul Miah,3rd prize to-Clay Bank by Rayhan Rajib.
