Dhaka– Two housewives allegedly committed suicide in separate places of Jessore district on Friday.The deceased were identified as Priya Biswas, 22, wife of Mukul Biswas of Ghop Central Road area in Jessore town and Kanina Rani, 30, wife of Prafulla Kumar of Kayemkola village in Jhikargachha upazila,UNB news agency reported.Quoting family members, police said Priya hanged herself from the ceiling of her house in the afternoon over a family feud. She was then taken to 250-Bed Jessore Hospital where doctors declared her dead.In another incident, Kanika took poison in her room at night following an altercation with her family members. She was rushed to 250-Bed Jessore Hospital where she died.Two unnatural death cases were filed.
