Dhaka – Police in their drives arrested five leaders and activists of Jamaat-e-Islami from different parts of Sundarganj upazila in in Gaibandha early Friday.Atiar Rahman, officer-in-charge of Sundarganj Police Station, said a police team conducted the drives overnight and arrested the five unidentified Jamaat men from their homes.They were wanted in a case filed under the Explosive Substance Act, the OC said.
