Dhaka – A court Husband gets death sentence for killing wife in Natorehere on Thursday convicted a man and sentenced him to death for killing his wife in Baraigram upazila in 2015.The condemned convict is Kajal Kumar Sarker, son of Sushen Chandra Sarker, a resident of Kalikapur village of the upazila.The court also fined him TK 1 lakh,UNB news agency.According to the prosecution, Mina Rani Pal, daughter of Sodanondo Pal of Sahebganj village in Atrai upazila of Naogaon district, was tortured to death over dowry by her husband Kajal on October 12, 2015.Later, the victim’s father filed a case with Baraigram Police Station.After examining all the records and witnesses, the District and Session’s Judge Rezaul Karim handed down the verdict.
