Satkhira, Mar 30 – Police in a special drive arrested a suspected member of the banned militant outfit Jama’atul Mujahideen Bangladesh from Bangal intersection in the district town on Wednesday night.Tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive there and arrested Selim Babu alias Tak Babu, 42, son of Tamij Uddin Sardar, around 8 pm, said Billal Hossain, a sub-inspector at Sadar Police Station.
Babu was wanted in two cases filed over subversive activities, the SI said. – UNB
