Dhaka– An eight-year old girl was raped allegedly by two teenagers at Hawlader Kandi village in Naria upazila on Saturday.The alleged rapists are Rakib Hawlader, 14, son of Nuruzzaman Hawlader of Hawlader Kandi village, and Kabir Madbar, 13, son of Khokon Madbar of Chikandi village in Sadar upazila of the district.UNB agencyPolice and family members said Rakib and Kabir intercepted the minor girl on her way back home from playing with her friends.Later, they took her to Rakib’s house forcibly and molested her one after another.Returning home the girl fell sick seriously with bleeding profusely from her body, police said.The girl was first taken to Shariatpur Sadar Hospital and later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) as her condition deteriorated with non-stop bleeding, said Dr Ambia Alam, a medical officer of the hospital. Contacted, Officer-in-Charge of Naria Police Station Ikram Ali Miah said a police team rushed to the spot and they are trying to arrest the alleged rapists.
