Dhaka – Police arrested a suspected female drug peddler along ‘with 500 grams of heroin’ at Navaran in Sharsha upazila of Jessore district in Benapole on Monday night.Tipped off, police raided the house of Suruj Ali at night and arrested Momena Begum, 45, wife of Toiyab Ali, said Babul Akter, a sub-inspector at Sharsha Police Station.The law enforcers also recovered 500 grams of heroin from her possession.A case was filed.UNB news agency
