CNG driver injured in Ctg bomb blasts

At least five to six cocktails were exploded during a procession brought out by the
activists of Islami Chhatra Shibir (ICS) at different parts in the port city this morning.
A CNG run auto-rickshaw driver Mohammad Jamshed, 26, was injured by cocktail
splinters at Kazir Dwry area of the city.
Police said Shibir, student wing of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, as part of their scheduled
countrywide demonstration, brought out a procession in Nasirabad Gate No 2 area
and Kazir Dewry area at about 9.30 am and exploded five to six crude bombs from the
procession.
They created panic in the area and the traffic movement halted there for a half an hour
after the incident.
The Shibir activists brought out the procession demanding release of ICS central
