Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested an alleged smuggler along with smuggled Indian saree worth Tk one crore from Hajipur area of Bijoynagar upazila in Brahmanbaria on Sunday.The arrestee was identified as Tofazzal Hossain, 25, son of Rustom Miah, a resident of Jalalpur village.Major Sheikh Arefin Porag, commander of Rab-14, said that on secret information a team of elite force conducted a drive and arrested Tofazzal along with 111 pieces of Indian saree kept in 40 sacks.UNB news agency
