Dhaka – Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested an alleged drug peddler along with 1.5 kg heroin from Baroroshia in Sadar upazila in Chapainawabganj on Friday.The arrestee was Mozammel Haq, 55, son of Gias Uddin of the village.Tipped off, a team of Rab-5 raided the house of Mozammel and recovered 1.5 kg heroin, kept in a bag, from the house around 8 pm, said Major Ashraf, Commanding officer of Rab-5.The elite force members arrested Mozammel in this connection.UNB news agency
