Leaders of city unit of Hefazat-e-Islam on Friday said the conscious people won’t cast their votes for Awami League again to power. Addressing an iftar mahfil at its Lalbagh office, they accused the government of carrying out propaganda based on falsehood against Islam, Muslims and Hefazat leadership even in the month of Ramzan.
The Hefazat leaders said the AL has to face the severe consequence of its misdeeds.
They said after being defeated in five city corporation polls, the AL leadership is talking in an imbalanced manner.
The leaders warned the Hefazat didn’t escape away from the field; rather the government has been suffering from Hefazat fever and looking for opportunity to flee away.
They said they would laucnh tougher action after the month of Ramzan.
Presided over by Maulana Jasim Uddin, convenor of Lalbagh Zone, the function was also addressed, among others, by Nayebe Ameer of Hefazat-e-Islam Maulana Ahmadullah Ashraf, IOJ chairman Maulana Abdul Latif Nezami, Maulana Abdul Hamid Madhupuri and Mufti Taiyab Hossain.
