Dhaka – A balloon seller was killed and two others injured as a gas cylinder went off at Prattasha area of the town on Sunday evening.
The deceased was identified as Baharul Alam, 36.Witnesses said the incident occurred when Baharul was inflating balloons from the cylinder marking the Independence Day. Suddenly, the cylinder exploded and Baharul died on the spot while two of his assistants sustained injuries.
Confirming the incident, Sonali Sen, media wing chief of Khulna Metropolitan Police, said the injured were sent to Khulna General Hospital.UNB
