Dhaka- Dhaka Abahani Ltd maintained the win spree in Green Delta Insurance Premier Division Hockey League by crushing Bangladesh SC by 10-0 goals as their 3rd success in a row at Maulana Bhashani National Hockey Stadium here on Saturday.Arshad Hossain struck a hat-trick with three field goals in the 24th, 37th and 60th minutes for the winners. Krishno Kumar Das found the net with a field goal in the 16th minute and scored a penalty corner goal for his 2nd one in the 53rd minute.
Ashraful Islam made a penalty corner goal in the 19th minute while Roman Sarkar, Afsar Uddin, Sohanur Rahman Sabuj and Shahidullah Khokon scored one field goal each in the 26th, 34th, 50th and 63rd minutes respectively.
Abahani started their tournament campaign with 10-0 victory against Bangladesh Police SC before downing Victoria SC by 8-0 goals.
Meanwhile, Mohammedan Sporting Club in the day’s another match defeated Victoria Sporting Club by 3-1 margin at the same venue.
Arvinder Singh and Kamruzzaman Rana scored one penalty corner goal each in the 28th and 42nd minutes respectively while Shamsher Singh scored a field goal in the 56th minutes for the winners.Shahibaj Sheikh scored a field goal in the 51st minute to reduce the loss margin.UNB
