Dhaka, Aug 20 – Jukto Front chairman and former president Dr AQM Badruddoza Chowdhury and Gono Forum president Dr Kamal Hossain on Sunday announced their decision to forge an alliance of greater ‘unity’ in the ‘interest of the nation’.The decision was taken at a meeting held at night at B Chowdhury’s Baridhara residence, said a press release.
It said the two politicians will hold a press conference just after Eid-ul-Azha to announce a ‘grand rally’ and reveal the alliance’s next course of action.
Before that, they will hold a joint meeting at Dr Kamal’s Bailey Road residence at 55 pm on Monday. – UNB
