Police on Sunday arrested two alleged female drug peddlers along with 30 bottles of
Indian Phensidyl syrup at Bharaura village in Sreemangal upazila.
The arrestees were Zahura Khatun, 30, wife of Rokon Mia of the village, and Fatema
Begum, 45, wife of late Muhid Mia of Kalighat area of the upazila.
Being tipped off, police conducted a drive in the area and arrested both the women in
possession of the contraband drugs at around 10.00am. -UNB, Moulvibazar
