Tk 21cr siphoned to Koko Ac in Singapore brought back: Muhith

Some Tk 21,00,55,394 which was siphoned off to Singapore by BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s younger son Arafat Rahman Koko had been brought back home during the present tenure of the government, the Finance Minister told Parliament on Sunday.
AMA Muhith came up with the information while responding to a tabled question of Muhibur Rahman Manik (Sunamganj-5).
The Anti Corruption Commission on March 17, 2009 sued Koko and Ismail Hossain Simon, son of former BNP minister late Col (retd) Akbar Hossain, for siphoning off more than Tk 20 crore to Singapore.-UNB
