Members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two people with huge fake notes from Terakhadia area under Rajpara Police Station in the city last night, the RAB sources said this morning.
The arrested are Mamun Ali, 22, of Mushrail and Murad Hossain, 19, of Sheikhpara in the metropolis.
On a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a sudden raid in the area and arrested them and seized the fake currency of Taka 87,000 from their possession.
The arrested youths along with the seized notes were handed over to police.
A case was filed with the police station concerned in this connection. -BSS, Rajshahi
