Dhaka – Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Monday greeted the war-wounded freedom fighters and their families on the occasion of the great Victory Day. PM’s assistant personal secretary M Saifuzzaman Shikhor, on behalf of Sheikh Hasina, greeted them with flowers, fruits and sweets at the War Wounded Freedom Fighters’ Rest House at city’s Mohammadpur as a mark of her good wishes for them on the occasion of the country’s 43rd Victory Day.
The freedom fighters who were present on the occasion expressed their gratitude to the Prime Minister and thanked her for her gesture, PM’s Press Secretary Abul Kalam Azad said. – UNB
