Sylhet – Police in separate drives have arrested 64 people on various charges from different areas of the city and four districts of Sylhet division.Additional police super of the city Ejaz Ahmed said several teams of police conducted separate special drives in the Sylhet city and four districts — Sylhet, Moulvibazar, Habiganj and Sunamganj — from Sunday night to Monday morning and arrested the 64 people, who were on the run.
The arrestees include 11 people from Sylhet city, 19 from Sylhet district, five from Moulvibazar, 17 from Habiganj and 12 from Sunamganj districts.
Police said all the arrested people were named as accused in separate cases, including of robbery, mugging and smuggling. – UNB
