A minor boy was killed as a pickup van crashed into him at Syedpur village in Sadar upazila on Sunday night.
The deceased was identified as Shahin Alam, 12, son of Adud Mia of the village.Witnesses said the pickup van loaded with sand hit Shahin from behind
while he was going to a shop near his house around 8:00pm, leaving him dead on the spot.Later, local people seized the vehicle and torched it.On information, police recovered the body and sent it to sadar hospital morgue for an autopsy.Officer-in-charge of Sunamganj Sadar Police Station Jane Alam
