A young man was killed and another person injured after falling from the roof of a running bus at Abdullahpur in Keraniganj upazila on Tuesday.
The deceased was identified as poultry trader Shiplu, 28, a resident of Shologhar village in Shrinagar upazila. Sheikh Mahabubur Rahman, officer-in-charge of Srinagar Police Station, said Shiplu and Hajrat Ali while travelling on the roof of a bus from Dhaka fell down from the vehicle as they got hurt with a roadside tree.Shiplu died on the spot while Hajrat was critically injured. The injured was admitted to Srinagar Upazila Health Complex.On information, police recovered the body and sent it to hospital morgue for an autopsy. -UNB, Munshiganj
