A security guard named Belayet Hossain (50) was shoot and taka 2 lakh 80 thousand was robbed at Hajipara under Ramna Thana at around 2:30 pm on Monday.
Another security guard Abul Bashar rescued Belayet and took him to Dhaka Medical College Hospital at 3:00 pm. Bashar said that they work for a company called Bani Apparels at Hajipara. Belayet and some other security guards were taking the wages of the employees of another institute of Bani Apparels.When they reached near the Hajipara petrol pump some 4-5 hijackers surrounded them. One of them shoot on the thigh of Belayet and snatched 2 lakh 80 thousand taka. Belayet is undergoing treatment in an emergency department. – News Desk
